Girls and boys, maybe it's too early to properly having processed the movie. Up from the top of my head:
Yes, the action is TREMENDOUS. And, very conscious of the Man-of-Steel's criticisms, saving and /or showing endangered civilians is a critical part of the action.
No, it's not the same than seeing the team assemble for the first time, this feels like another chapter in their ongoing lives... but its a huge, fascinating one.
Ultron is full of charisma, but maybe Hawkeye steals the movie.
Oh, well, if you liked the first one, this one has a lot more to love. There are some necessary changes to set up Phase Three, which make this one a bit less charming (but there are laughs a-plenty). All in all, a solid 9, maybe plus. And even if geek-dom had correctly guessed many of the plot twists, there are quite a few surprises. That first scene between Thor and the Vision... oh, man, I hadn't heard a packed movie theater GASP at once in a long, long time.
