Girls and boys, Elephantmen 32, written by Richard Starkings and drawn and colored by yours truly is out in the world today from Image Comics.
This is an important issue for me for a couple of reasons: first, it's an homage to Conan, a character I've always been fond of an which I'd love to get to oficially draw sometime, but in the meantime, for all purposes THIS is how a Conan-story by me would look like. Minus the trunk and tusks.
Second, this is the end of my first "season" in Elephantmen... issue 33 will be by Shaky Kane, and 34 and 35 by Boo Cook. I do have a back up story, a cover and some other stuff in the meantime, and I'll be back with full art chores again in issue 36. Hopefully the break will help me improve the quality of the art for the next arc.
Anyway, it's been a blast so far... if you have the chance, check this at your local comic book store. Here's a preview: [link]
And check out 50 Girls 50 #2, out in the world today, too!
I can also imagine this horse being MASSIVE, as well o.O Very nice piece XD
awesome pic^^
The flecks of saliva from the horse's mouth is a nice touch. To me, it seems like it's making a big effort to carry this big heffalump.
