These days, here in Guadalajara, the Pearl of Occident, is taking place the third largest Book Fair in the World, now celebrating its 20th year...

Remember the Jules Verne book of last year? Well, this year I took part among a handful of other artists in a book about soccer... the book will premiere next thursday at the fair, let's hope it does well...

The story I illustrated is about female soccer, which is still a rarity in Mexico... this is the first page, just for sampling...

Wow pink and grey works really well.
...
unusual but it looks good, dont know why, maybe the simplicity makes it more eye-catching.

Felicidades! Me encanta como dibujas las luces y las sombras. La historia se ve sensacional en el libro y me gustaron también las guardas!

Mucha suerte!!!

I like the pink in there, as well as how the first panel is drawn in a different style than the first.

I'm assuming that there's captions or dialog to go along with this.

Oh, yes...

But I'm just too lazy to translate them right now, and it would have been rude posting them in spanish...

Nice work. I like the contrast between the man at the top and the other panels.

Thanks! there's about 20 years between both scenes, so it had to look different...
