TLIID 156. Da Vinci's Iron Man, part 1 by AxelMedellin TLIID 156. Da Vinci's Iron Man, part 1 by AxelMedellin
Girls and boys, this week in The Line it is Drawn, creators who would be a dream having on such or such characters. And, if anyone other than Tony Stark could build that suit, it would have to be Leonardo Da Vinci. This was just pure joy to do. Please, go and see part 2 and 3. And the full gallery here:

Who do I send my first born to in order to get prints of these Da Vinci images?

I'm serious. (Except the first born part)

Looks awesome! I love how the drawings are similar to how leonardo himself would've done it. Great job!

It's very similar to sketches from Da Vinci. In any case this piece is very great!
Especially the line management is very steady. Is there a little influence from
greek/roman fancywork?

Well, the similarity was the whole point :D

I didn't actually think about the fancywork, but you may have something there. I only limited myself to crowquill, since that would have been Leonardo's weapon of choice...
