At my timezone, it's a little under 22 and a half hours to the New Year.
Well... no need to comment on all the issues the world had on 2013. You are all well aware of them. There have been best years, there have been worst.
On the immediate turf, well, lots of work, even if it didn't reflect on money (lol) or publications. I think I had art on six or seven new Elephantmen issues this year, and two or three Hoax Hunters. A couple of self-published comics here in Mexico, and, of course, the weekly Line projects (as I write this, I have the first of the year half-drawn... I did pick a complicated one this time). Lots of traveling (at least from my point of reference), a little missionary talks about the joy of comic books.
Next year, I really want to draw more, and better. I really have the itch of having my fourth series at Image being a creator-owned project. And starting a webcomic. As Neil Gaiman says, if everything in the world falls apart, make good art. Next year, I want to make a lot of good art.
Thanks to everyone who's been kind enough to visit, comment, like, and helping to make this trip worthwhile. A great year ahead, folks.
