Wow... three months since I journaled here... ok, I guess life really gets in the way.
A little over three weeks to SDCC... I haven't had the time to actually think about it this time... too much chaos around. But, well, let's see how it goes.
I had to skip this week's Line due to some of that chaos... I usually take pride in not missing any weeks, and it's been two this year already. But all the sampling and stuff should pay off.
In the meantime, a rare opportunity, should you be curious about those Elephantmen yours truly keeps talking about... there's a big EM sale at Comixology, ending next monday June 26th:
www.comixology.com/Elephantmen…
All digital collections and single issues at 50%... yes, I know, nobody likes advertising, but, well, if you have a virtual dollar or two and would like to try something new, my work starts appearing at issue 25... 51-55 are a highlight... 36-39 are not bad either... 65-69 are a blast... 47-49 have my most ambitious space scenes... oh, well, I'm just ranting... if you just feel like browing, you can preview a few pages of each issue.
Back here before SDCC... have a nice weekend, folks!

Well, I'm just realizing it's been about a year, give or take a week, since I last updated the journal. Me from a year ago was blissfully unaware of the future... lucky him. Elephantmen 100 and Megadeth: Death by Design
Girls and boys, when it rains, it pours.
A little house cleaning first: it was a GOOD Comic-Con. Not the best, but surprisingly stress-free. It seems seeds are planted, at least we keep working. Thanks to you fine folks that commissioned art... I didn't have to do the usual instant-ramen aftermonth this time.
A couple of things I was really looking forward to got off the rails, or at least delayed some months, but, well, time to re-group and keep on rolling.
And today, we have to landmark issues out:
First, the 100th Elephantmen issue, the conclusion to "The Pentalion Job", our second season at Comixology. Giant robots, sexy robots, lots
