Well... as Dickens wrote, it was the best of times, it was the worst of times. Maybe not exactly, but there certainly were a lot of highlights in this year, and a lot of times I wished I could just teleport anywhere else.
I'm very grateful for the good things. My wonderful family still puts up with me (that is a claim to sainthood if there ever was one!) and the drawing thing is kind of working better, I thing. I'm very grateful for the chance to continue doing Elephantmen, and the new projects that arrived, like Hoax Hunters and The Line it is Drawn. I've met and worked with great and talented people. Hopefully better things will come.
Thanks to all you new watchers, and to all you who took time to favorite or comment any of my deviations. This is the first year I've been regularly posting after two or three of being away. My purpose for this year is making this a better DA page, and getting better art to more places. Let's see.
Hang in there, world, here is the secret: it's not the economy or the violence or the looming doomsday. It's us. So, let's try and improve something a day a time. It's not always easy, but it's rarely that hard.
Have a great new year, all year long, folks.
