TLIID 292. Catwoman mourns Darwyn Cooke

Girls and boys, we lost one of the greats a couple of weeks ago.

I was late for the Cooke wagon. I watched the New Frontier animated movie and loved it, but I did not get around to reading the original graphic novel up until the next day of his passing. I did read a Parker volume and his Catwoman arc before that. It's so scary how good Cooke was... how effortlessly he made it look. And even at his most violent and dark, his love for the medium shone... he had so much to do yet, what a shame.
